Pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021, On June 16, 2021, Governor Baker signed into law An Act Extending Certain COVID-19 Measures Adopted during the State of Emergency.  This Act includes an extension, until March 31, 2023, of the remote meeting provisions of his March 12, 2020, Executive Order. Pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021.

This meeting/public hearing will be conducted via remote means. Members of the public who wish to access the meeting may do so by using to Webinar link below.  No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, and public participation in any public hearing conducted during this meeting shall be by remote means only.

Call to Order –6:00PM  - Grant Permission to Westwood Media Center and anyone else who wishes to record the meeting.

Chair Opening Remarks – Welcome Members

 

  • Discussion and voting regarding the formation of a Sub-Group of Members charged with the responsibility to make a formal offer on any potential properties that WHA/WAHA ma y desire to purchase with the specific goal of bringing additional affordable housing to Westwood.

     

  • Executive Session. - Westwood Affordable Housing Associates, Inc. (WAHA)

 The Chair has determined for the Westwood Affordable Housing Associates, Inc. to discuss the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property in open session would have a detrimental effect on the positioning of the governing body if the discussion were held in open session.  As such, the Chair is willing to entertain a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss these matters pursuant to G.L. c. 30A, §21 (a)(6). The Board will be returning to open session.
