The Comprehensive Plan, updated in 2020, is a visionary document that helps guide decisions in areas such as land use, economic development and transportation. It is not a law or regulation but a guidepost for our future.

Anyone not on the steering committee was invited and encouraged to participate in the public planning process by attending various meetings and events, answering surveys, and providing feedback.

• On December 15, 2020, the Planning Board adopted the 2020 Comprehensive Plan.  
  
  
• On December 1st, the Planning Board continued the hearing to Tuesday, December 15, 2020.  Board will review final draft revised through 12/10/2020
   
• Public hearing on final draft of the 2020 Comprehensive Plan continued to Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 7:00 pm via Zoom.
  
  
• Public Hearing on final draft of the 2020 Comprehensive Plan - Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 7:00 pm via Zoom. Zoom info in agenda and will be filmed live by Westwood Media's YouTube Here and Comcast Channel 12 or Verizon 42. - The public hearing was continued to Tuesday, December 1st meeting to incorporate changes requested.

• Draft 2020 Comprehensive Plan - Revised through October 21, 2020
   
• October 2020 Update: On October 15, 2020 the Committee met to make final edits and voted to forward the final draft to the Select Board and Planning Board for final review and approval. October 15, 2020 Meeting Link with Draft Plan.  Watch the meeting here. 
  
  
• The Committee hosted two open house office hours for residents to come talk about what's important to be included in the 2020 Comprehensive Plan and we received valuable input. Thank you to everyone that participated!  See Flyer.

• Public Presentations of initial goals commenced on Tuesday, October 22 at 7:00 pm at the Planning Board meeting.  Two subject areas at a time will continue to present on November 5, November 19, December 10 and into January.  A full schedule is here.  Presentations are open to the public and will be open for input and discussion.
