 Westwood Sharps Collection Program

Sharps Container

Residents can dispose of their Sharps containers anytime in the Sharps kiosk now located at the Municipal Building, 50 Carby Street.  Needles, lancets and syringes are all considered sharps and must only be placed in this approved container for proper disposal (the kiosk will not accept loose needles).  Westwood residents may obtain approved sharps containers free of charge during business hours at the Board of Health Office, Town Hall or at the Senior Center.  Tape lid securely closed and place containers one at a time in the Sharps collection kiosks located at 50 Carby Street, Westwood.  For more information, visit the town website.

Needle Kiosk

Please do not put any other type of container into Kiosks. Using containers that are too large causes the Kiosk to malfunction and jeopardizes the sharps collection program.
