The Dedham-Westwood Water District is a self-supporting branch of local government responsible for providing drinking water and fire suppression to the towns of Dedham and Westwood.
The District is a separate entity from the two towns it serves.
The Board of Commissioners governs the District. The Select Board appoints the commissioners from each town. Three members are from Dedham, and three are from Westwood.
Public meetings are held monthly, typically on the second Wednesday of each month, at the District’s Headquarters, 50 Elm Street in Dedham.
Bylaws and formal Rules and Regulations govern the District, which the Commissioners approve.
The three Westwood commissioners currently appointed to the Board are:

• Louis Kustwan, Clerk
• Gary Yessaillian, Board Member
