Home MenuCommon Victualler CV Licensing
Every food service establishment engaging in the business of preparing and/or providing food for seated patrons, on the premises, from a permanent structure, and subject to approvals from Town inspections of building, fire & health departments, must obtain a Common Victualler (CV) License issued by the Select Board, Local Licensing Authority (LLA), under M.G.L., Chapter 140, Section 2. This license is issued and renewed annually with a fee of $50 (check payable to The Town of Westwood).
The Licensing Division processes all requests for new CV licenses, amendments to existing licenses and annual renewal of CV licenses. New CV license applications require 30-60 days lead time to allow for legal advertising, abutters notification and a public hearing before the Select Board.
ALL PERMIT APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE THROUGH "VIEWPOINT CLOUD".
