Section 109A of Chapter 54 of the General laws requires post-election result audits after presidential elections. Under the provisions of this section 3% of all the precincts in Mass must be hand counted as part of the audit process.

The law requires that precincts to be audited must be chosen in a random, publicly verifiable, non computerized drawing  supervised by the Secretary of State within 48 hours after polls are closed.

This audit was performed at 11:00AM on November 5, 2020 and Westwood’s Precinct one was randomly drawn.

offices to be audited are President & Vice-President; Representative  in Congress; Senator  in Congress; Representative in the General Court, Senator in the General Court ;and Question 1.
