National Purple Heart Day

National Purple Heart Day is held annually on August 7th, to honor the brave men and women who were either wounded on the battlefield or lost their lives while serving in the U.S. military.
Westwood was adopted as a Purple Heart Community by the Select Board on May 23, 2022.
