Executive Session Script
The Board of Assessors will be going into Executive Session to review FY2023 abatement applications and discuss potential settlement of ATB case with DRE Nemtoco LLC. The Board of Assessors may convene in Executive Session under Purpose 7 “to comply with, or act under the authority of, any general law, citing G.L. c.59, § 60 as the statute requiring confidentiality.” See G.L. c.30A, § 21(a)(7). Pursuant to G.L. c.30A §22(f) (g) to comply with any general law for review of Executive Session Minutes, all of which would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governing body if the discussion were in open session.
The Board will not return to open session.
