Pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021. On June 16, 2021, Governor Baker signed into law An Act Extending Certain COVID-19 Measures Adopted during the State of Emergency.  This Act includes an extension, until March 31, 2023, of the remote meeting provisions of his March 12, 2020, Executive Order.

This meeting will be conducted via remote means. Members of the public who wish to access the meeting may do so by using the Webinar link below. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings in real-time, via technological means. In the event that we are unable to do so, for reasons of economic hardship and despite our best efforts, we will post on the Town website an audio or video recording, transcript, or another comprehensive record of proceedings as soon as possible after the meeting

Please take notice that the Select Board, at its meeting on November 7, 2022, continued the FY23 Tax Classification Hearing to the Select Board meeting on November 21, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. via Zoom Webinar.

The Westwood Select Board will hold a remote Public Hearing on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 8:00 a.m., pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021. On June 16, 2021, Governor Baker signed into law an Act Extending Certain COVID-19 Measures Adopted during the State of Emergency.  This Act includes an extension, until March 31, 2023, of the remote meeting provisions of his March 12, 2020, Executive Order. The meeting will be filmed lived by Westwood Media Center available for viewing on Comcast channel 12 and Verizon channel 42. Those wishing to participate in this Public Hearing are encouraged to use Zoom.

The purpose of this meeting will be for discussion and taxpayer feedback and a vote of the Select Board to determine the allocation of the Fiscal Year 2023 taxes among the classes of real and personal property as set forth in Chapter 40, Section 56 of the General Laws. Interested taxpayers may present written information on their views at the November 21, 2022, Public Hearing.
